As If!

The Complete Jane Austen on PBS has come to fine end. It was very enjoyable. I typically watched them on a Sunday afternoon. Don would typically come up from his man-cave around the last 30-40 minutes of the show. He'd sit down and watch for a few minutes and then ask, "Is he a good guy or a bad guy?" Cuz you never know with the men of Jane Austen. The only thing you ever do know is...he is no Mr. Darcy.

Carla has taken her enjoyment into the classroom. You can do that when you're a language arts teacher. My kids would just look at me like I had worms coming out my ears if I started talking about Jane Austen. Of course, you know, that doesn't stop me.

So Carla showed her kids "Emma" with a "Clueless" chaser. "Clueless" is a loose, modern adaptation of "Emma".

What does "Clueless" have to do with "Ghostbusters 2"? Those two movies are forever linked together for me cuz Dhyana watched them a whole, whole bunch when I was pregnant with Lila and when Lila was a tiny baby. So much so that we called Lila "Oscar", the baby in Ghostbusters, before she was born. And as much as we watched them over and over and over again, I still really like both movies. They both hold up over time.

I'm enjoying reminiscing.
