And The Disco Controversy Rages On
Ok, so according to Larry, "How Deep Is Your Love" isn't disco. I'd have to agree with him on that point. Even though it's by the Bee Gees and they're most famous for disco, the beat is decidedly not disco.
"Staying Alive" is disco. The video is equally atrocious. I can enjoy the music by itself. The video makes me cringe and look away screaming "My eyes! My eyes!"

I prefer to remember the Bee Gees for their earlier songs, like "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart", and "I Started A Joke". But you're right that they are most remembered/reviled for disco, unlike Rod Stewart and The Rolling Stones, who both recorded their own slightly embarrassing disco songs.
