Mystery lyric for $500, Alex.
We took Lila and two of her friends to Elitch Gardens in Denver yesterday. It's a Six Flags. I think I'm officially over amusement parks. They really don't amuse me anymore. We'll still take her if she wants to go in the future, but I'm thinking if she's with a couple of girlfriends, they're old enough to go in by themselves. Don and I could drop them off and pick them up later. Then we could go do something we like to do in Denver. There's the aquarium, the art museum, the science museum, the botanical gardens, the zoo, Dave & Buster's. Plenty of fun there!
We do enjoy the people watching in places like Elitch's. But if I never see another tattooed thug in droopy pants, it'll be too soon. I guess cuz I work with those kinds of kids all day, it doesn't impress me at all. And, I'm guessing most of those thuggishly dressed kids aren't thugs at all. That just irritates me more. Grow some originality, will ya?
I did have a really good sno-cone. I ordered a cherry and the guy said, "It's $4.25." Holy crap. Well, he serves it up in this ginormous cup and puts lots and lots and lots of cherry syrupy goodness on it. Don and I shared it and still was too much to eat. So I guess the $4.25 wasn't so bad.
But Lila and her friends had a great time so I'm happy that we could take them. They deserve to have fun, they're good kids.
