My mom has had her tumor removed. They found cancer in the tumor, but it was completely removed with the surgery. So now she just has to heal up from the surgery and then get the colostomy bag removed. Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy.
Anywho, here's a photo of her, sometime in the early 50's, somewhere in South St. Louis. I assume, I don't really know for sure. That's just what it looks like to me.

That is a great picture. She looks like a beauty queen. I'm glad the cancer didn't spread and that she's so healthy overall.
That photo is in the back yard of Bates Street looking east. Right behind the building in the background would be the Velvet Freeze where Mom & Dad met.
