On The Street Where I Live

I took my camera with me Sunday evening when I went for a walk. These were all taken on that walk.

My familiar, Zorro.

Yellow Yarrow along a fence.

Don't know the name of this flower. Reminds me of a badminton birdie.

This is a wild geranium in my garden.

Thistle.

Thistle, again.

Sweet pea that grow along the roadside.

Sweet pea buds. They look like little pairs of shoes.

I was losing the light by this time.

Pansy in my garden. It rained earlier in the day and there were still raindrops.

Those pine cones really are that purply-blue color.

Leftover from the storm.

Pike's Peak.

Pink Cosmos in my garden.

Don't know the name of this flower. Made me think of little solar systems, orbiting on the roadside.

Indian Paintbrush.

Grass.

More grass.

Even more grass!

Columbine in my garden.

Bluejay.

Don't know the name of this flower, but it grows in my garden.

Someone built this little lean-to out of Aspen trees. I bet fairies wear their fancy Sweet Pea shoes to parties in there.

A doe and her two fawns that hang around our house. I have to chase them away from my garden on a frequent basis.

Beautiful pictures! Can't decide which is my favorite - I like the pine cones, the little obit looking thingy, the sunset, all the animals (all you get in MO is possum, squirrels and a random stray dog).

Wow, really lovely captures of your garden! Plus, nice to see Zorro again.. AND the deer! Too much good stuff! Just need some photos of s'mores now.
