Coming Soon To A Theater Near You

Dhyana says she hasn't been keeping up with all the summer movies coming out. Something about being busy with school or some such nonsense.

Luckily for her, we get Entertainment Weekly.

So here's the movies I want to see. Dhyana is welcome to join us on any of them!

Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of The Crystal Skull
(no duh there!)
Iron Man
Speed Racer (Lila wants to see this, I could possibly take her)
Prince Caspian (Lila might see this with her friends before we get a chance to take her. But we want to see it, too.)
Kung Fu Panda (Crouching Tiger, Chubby Panda)
Get Smart (Would you believe Lila didn't know this was a TV show?)
The Love Guru (I'm willing to risk it)
Walle (Larry is working on both Love Guru and Walle. I need to support him.)
X-Files (Mulder, where are you?) and (David Duchovny, why don't you love me?)
Hancock
The Dark Knight
Step Brothers
Journey to the Center of the Earth
Hellboy 2: The Golden Army
(Hello, my name is Jennifer and I'm a closet Hellboy freek)
Tropic Thunder
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

so basically, sex and the city movie comes out may 30th and beyond that I can't really muster any interest for anything else. you may be able to drag me to indiana jones and batman, but the others are just no so much my thing (I didn't watch all the previews, but i can tell from the title. especially hellboy. the first one of those was like the most unpleasant movie experience of my life)
i'm really just looking forward to like having cable and getting to watch oprah again.
howabout my job is for every movie family outing you plan, i come up with some more healthy thing for us to do too?

You say it like going to the movies is an unhealthy thing?

Summer movies are a time of big screens. Some movies, namely chick-flicks or serious dramas, I can wait for them to come out on DVD. These movies are character and fine detail driven. Summer movies are about big action, big characters, big mythology.

So if getting in touch with my inner testosterone is unhealthy, I don't want to be healthy.

I should write a country song with that title.

i meant that movie theater food or the food you eat on the way and being sedentary as opposed to hiking or whatever is less healthy

I don't eat movie popcorn at all anymore. If I get something to drink, it's either water or I just take few sips of whatever Don gets. And I can usually resist the Milk Duds. Not always, but usually.

I do want to do some hikes this summer. But like the Farmer's Market, the earlier the better. Can you handle it?
