Whoring Around In Pueblo

I went to my art teacher's conference this past week. Three days in Pueblo. Someone should write a song with that for a title. There were a couple of good classes I went to. One class on Aboriginal Australian Dreamtime art was sponsored by Sanford. Sanford makes Prismacolor. You might remember I have a bagillion Prismacolor pencils. Sanford was very generous. I received, as a lovely parting gift, a box of 24 Prismacolor markers and a tin of 36 Prismacolor pencils. As you also might recall, I just got done buying some new and fancy markers for my creative journaling class. They weren't Prismacolors. The box I received retails for about $85. That's why I bought a different brand. I don't use markers that much, but I do use pencils a lot and I like Prismacolors and will pay $1 a pencil for them. We art teachers aren't shy about getting free stuff. The presenter at the Sanford class related a story about one of her co-teachers and how it feels to get in your supplies for the year. Her co-teacher said it made her nipples hard. Another presenter in another class on mandalas said right out loud that art teachers are free-stuff whores. I feel no shame over this fact.
