From Woodland Park To Cuba

The aspen leaves are turning. They don't seem to be as brilliant as usual. At least down here. Up around Don's parents' house they seem to be the typical gold. I need to take some photos. Haven't done that in a while.

Don's mom comes home today. We did their grocery shopping yesterday. We're all anxious about her coming back up to altitude. There's a possibility she can't live up here anymore. Tough decision.

Lila went to 6th grade camp this week. She said it wasn't as fun as she thought it would be. She liked doing the zip wire the best. She liked singing the same camp songs over and over and over and over again the least. Can you tell? Her soccer team won again yesterday and they won the game she missed when she was at camp. Their record is now 5-1. They rock.

I joined Weight Watchers last week. All the reading I've done on sleep apnea says being overweight can bring on the condition and make it worse if you already have it. So there...I went public and now I have to be accountable to every-freekin'-one. I'll let you know how it goes.

Still reading "Love In The Time Of Cholera". I need to finish up soon since the books I have to read for my journaling class are being shipped from Amazon as we speak.

Gloria Estefan has a new CD in Spanish. I just got done listening to it on Napster whilst I was paying bills. I like one song better than the next. It's called "90 Millas". I think that refers to the 90 miles between Florida and Cuba. Have a listen.
