Lila started middle school yesterday. She was a little antsy about the whole locker thingy, but she did alright and is adjusting quickly. Besides, I told her she'd have locker nightmares well into old age. And she started soccer practice. Apparently I'm a soccer mom now. Those presidential candidates better start paying attention to my demographic.
Dhyana is back at KU Lawrence. Except for the heat and the humidity and the cicadas and the mosquitoes, she seems to be doing ok. She has a nice roommate and a nice Kansas boyfriend. Not to be confused with the nice Colorado boyfriend.
I'm back at school, too. We have three new teachers this year and a new principal. Our former principal decided over the summer to take a principal job in Pueblo. I don't begrudge him the career move, I just wished he would've told us and provided a little closure. Bastard. No wonder he gave me a hug at the end of last school year. He was saying good-bye and didn't want to tell me he was saying good-bye. Why do men do that? Bastard. But our new principal is one of us, Mr. Dan the computer teacher. We all like and respect him. Tomorrow is his coronation. Mexican food for everyone!
Friendly Computers owes me some back pay.
