I've Made My Bed And Now I'll Have To Lay In It

We recently bought a Sleep Number bed.

It's fabulous.

Not only cuz it's comfortable and you don't wake up with weird bed sores and aches, but it's lightweight. I notice this cuz I'm the bed-maker.

I had a waterbed for about 20 years. Pain in the ass to make and eventually just a pain in the ass.

Then we bought a regular mattress. Well, a 16 inch thick mattress that was next to impossible to find sheets for and I had to recruit help to get the sheets across. It started to sag and was a major ordeal to flip. That was Don's job. It weighed a ton.

But the Sleep Number bed is a regular thickness and it's like butta to put the sheets on. I might even wash them more often. Doh!

Speaking of bedding, the Endless Star quilt is making progress. I have 3 of the 4 sides attached. Then it's on to the actual quilting. As it gets bigger, it gets harder to maneuver. At least it's not flannel like the Monkey Business quilt. Talk about your weighing a ton.

So, does it feel like an air mattress, or a regular one?

If you just sit on it or put your weight on it with a knee, you kinda sink in like an air mattress. But when you're laying on it with your full body weight, it's very comfortable and supportive. My friends Carla and Marilyn both have one and all have rave reviews for it.
