It'll Be Negro Day Everyday!

Carla and I saw Hairspray today.

It was fab-u-lous!

I found myself wanting to clap at the end of each musical number. It's full of extremely mild naughty humor, race jokes, fat jokes, and....most importantly....fabulous hair and clothes.

Carla's and mine favorite parts were, of course, all the detention kids were black and when Tracy mistakenly enters the teacher's lounge, all the teachers are smoking and eating donuts. I guess our secret it out!

If you like musicals, go see it. If you like fun movies, go see it. If you like to see John Travolta dance, go see it.

I like to see Christopher Walken dance, myself.

And I want every outfit that Queen Latifah wore.
