I got some annuals into my planters on the decks today. It's been a nice day so far, no rain...yet.
It's nice to be out in the garden most of the day. Sunshine on my shoulders makes me sunburned. Sunshine in my eyes makes me blind. But I need the sunshine as my doctor discovered I have a severe vitamin D deficiency. Another step on the migraine trail. Next stop: Progesterone. Anywho, back to the garden. Lots of dandelions and clover to weed out. I found a worm. You have to understand, I garden in decomposed granite. It's very poor soil. To find a worm is like the Holy Grail in gardening. Worm sign!
Warm sunshine, cool breezes, wind chimes trying to overcome all the bikers revving their engines down on the highway, and the humming birds dive bombing me and dog-fighting each other around the feeder. They're fierce.
And a cream soda while I blog.
Summertime and the living is easy.
